I'm on it...

This week I started my new fitness/healthy eating plan, as I really need to lose the pounds in readiness for our summer holiday to Greece. The main factor to any weightloss is what you put in you mouth as the saying goes ‘you are what you eat’- true,true. So I need to make sure that I am eating the RIGHT foods. This plate is an excellent idea of what type of food amount we should be eating.

Also over the past few weeks I have been attending ‘Staffit’ after school, our very kind PE teacher is instructing/motivating us teachers. Staffit is a high intensity work out (similar to Crossfit but its her own version) it only takes about 15mins but it really does get the heart going, blood pumping, fat burning and me generally looking very red in the face by the end of it!!

Also the hubby bought me a 12kg kettle-bell, I plan to workout in the house (if im not too knackered after working full time, being a housewife and a mum to very busy toddler!). My kettlebell is the smaller one in this picture below,the other is my hubbys-  26kg (very heavy), they provide an excellent all-over body workout. I think it cost about £20 off ebay, bargain!
