DivKid - Drop Kick EP

An awesome new release from the DivKid duo. Aptly named, Drop Kick is a heavy electro progressive banger. The original track is badass alone, but with this menacing remix package; David Menezes' pounding electro remix, Deep Infect's almost balearic sounding tech-house remix, Dom Kane's dark euro-trance electro remix, and Grubby's hypnoticly sick dubstep remix... I highly reccomend picking this up!

The Japanese Popstars feat. Green Velvet - Let Go

Another primo collaboration. I've not been a fan of everything that either of these two artists have done, but each of them have come out with some of my favorite tracks in the past, especially Green Velvet. And while I usually don't post a lot of stuff on the tech-housier side of things, this song definitely helps me break that. I dunno, you tell me... this song sounds HUGE. Visit thier myspace and pick up your own copy of the original from beatport.

Seymour Bits New Album Out Now

"It was the day before Christmas 2001 when 23 year old computer programmer Seymour Jackson found out that writing business-analysis software was not what he wanted from life. Going back to Zanzibar to pursue his childhood dream of making electronic funk music, on the other hand, was. Blending not only electro and funk, Seymour Bits has the ability to compose catchy songs with a distinct beginning and end. Combined with some thrilling solos and sexy vocals he is, even in these electro–packed days, still very much ahead of his time….which leads to the question ‘is he from our time or our world even’?" - Seymour

Better known as Amsterdam naitive Bas Bron, Seymour Bits released his second full length album Sept 17th on Magnetron Music. The self-titled release is full of electro, funk, and good ol 70s and 80s synth style.... I've got a few goodies for you to check out.

I don't know how I find these videos... I just do.

Jonny White feat My Favorite Robot - Desensitize

A gorgeous collaboration. Most of the artists in this release are new to me except of course for My Favorite Robot. The MFR boys lend their haunting vocals to a gorgeous electonica broken beat track from frequent cohort, Jonny White. Go Canadian music! I really dig the original track best here. Finnish producer/remixer Phonogenic also delivers a great tech/progressive house remix, both of which you can download here for free. Grab yourself the high quality files on beatport. You can also check out DJ Chloe's remix on the soundcloud widget below.

Meesha - Daat

Toronto's Thoughtless Music sent us some awesome deep dubstep from Meesha. The original track for 'Daat' is my favorite here, however I've also got a couple of tech remixes from Talal & Zoi as well as Bombaman. Pick up the whole EP with the Animaltek remix and another original Meesha track on beatport. Now, sit back and enjoy.

OMF(ussy Boy)G - Jonni

Rev your engines, Fussy Boy is layin down some heavy beats with his first single 'Jonni'. A tech house build with mezmerizing loops and layered synths. A great track to remix and mash, it's already getting support from Boyz Noize, D.I.M and MSTRKRFT. Listen to both the original and Robosapiens Remix on the soundcloud player below. Click on the arrow on the right to pick up your own copy.

OM(usic)FG - Jimmy Vallance

Call it Music Monday here at OMFGAtlanta. I've got these sound bite samples of a new DJ/producer on the horizon in New York, but born in Canada (since we've all been talking about Canada for the past two weeks anyway...), Jimmy Vallance. He's running his own label/podcast called 'Talk Action'. The music is what it's all about for Jimmy: "The sound is a mixture of raw organic real instruments, with digital undertones. I don't like it when music sounds too technology driven (to me that dates the tracks). I like using elements that are timeless...".  I picked my favorite of his samples to share simply because it's got more deep house sound than tech house, but you can listen to his tracks and podcasts on his soundcloud.

OM(eat Katie)FG - The 'Tension' EP Remixed

A sick package indeed. Thanks to Melissa and Lot49 for this one! You've got to listen to the remixes on this release. Most of them are pretty tech house oriented. A storming remix of 'Lucia' from Mateo Murphy and awesome electro break beat remix from Vent. Listen on the player below. Also, grab a freebie 320kbps of Tony Senghore's 'Tension' remix from the widget under the player.

OM(usic) - Down Right Rude

Balearic, melodic, low slung tech house or 'Baltec House'. A very strong debut release from this Russian crew. Not to mention, these guys back up thier name. Follow them on twitter, apparently they've been suspended twice in three weeks.

Envolver + Black Strip - Michael Woods

I stole this image off Michael Woods' myspace page. I normally wouldn't do that, but most of the pics I found of Michael searching images made him look like a douchebag.  I hope he's not a douchebag, because I like some of his housier stuff. With his remix of deadmau5's "Strobe", the "Yemba/Wobble" EP, and... a new EP "Envolver" dropping today, Woods is hot right now.

The A-side, "Envolver" is a solid Tech House track, but I favored the B-side, "Black Strip" myself.
