Der Tante Renate - Beast
KRS-One - Sound Of Da Police (Felix Luker Remix)
The KRS-One classic "put through a shredder & come through all puff-chested and wonky".
Felix' Saw EP is out on beatport

DivKid - Drop Kick EP
An awesome new release from the DivKid duo. Aptly named, Drop Kick is a heavy electro progressive banger. The original track is badass alone, but with this menacing remix package; David Menezes' pounding electro remix, Deep Infect's almost balearic sounding tech-house remix, Dom Kane's dark euro-trance electro remix, and Grubby's hypnoticly sick dubstep remix... I highly reccomend picking this up!

Here are a couple a remixes we received a lil while ago. I've been rockin the first one in my mp3 player for a couple weeks now and I'm definitely excited to be able to share with you. If you follow my music posts, you should be familiar with Black Diamond Bay on Exceptional Records. Seems they have been doing some remix competitions lately and thanks to those competitions, we now bring you Crazyboy Sam's remixes.

Dirt Nasty x Wolfgang Gartner - 1980 (Rad Omen Edit)
A couple years back, my buddy Russell showed me the video for this track called "1980" from Dirt Nasty. I instantly knew I had to get this track in full quality. Scavenged around and found the rest of Dirt Nasty's tunes as well as a slew of similar west coast 'balla' raps from the Dyslexic Speedreaders troupe. Here's that video... which also happens to be directed by Nicholaus Goosen (who directed the Rad Anthem video for Rad Omen, as well as the full-length feature "Grandma's Boy")
I did end up dropping that one as the closer to my Summer Of Slam! '08 Mix which you can listen to here. Fast forward to early '10 when I discovered Rad Omen and the infamous Rad Anthem, later that year they dropped 'Search, Party & Destroy'
And then a few days ago Rad Omen drops this sick mixtape...
Rad Omen – Rad Anthem
Kavinsky – Nightcall (The Girls Can Hear Us Remix)
David Guetta feat. Rihanna – Who’s That Chick (Fuck Me I’m Famous Mix)
Yo Majesty – Club Action Chris (Acapella)
Mark Okoh feat. Marty Rod – Let Me See Your Hands (Kill Paris Mix)
Swedish House Mafia – One/Your Name (Vendisco Re-Edit)
Wolfgang Gartner – Illmerica
Dirt Nasty – 1980 (Acapella)
Calvin Harris – Flashback (Million Dollar Mano Remix)
Rad Omen feat. Hollywood Holt – More Fire! (Acapella)
Calvin Harris – You Used to Hold Me (Laidback Luke Remix)
Avicii and Sebastien Drums – My Feelings for You
Rad Omen – Information Age
Big Boi – Stutterbug (Jack Beats Remix)
Rad Omen – Rad Theme (Acapella)
Duck Sauce – Barbara Streisand
Deadmau5 feat. Rob Swire – Ghosts n Stuff (Vocal Mix)
Afrojack – Replica
The ’87 Stick Up Kids feat. Amanda Blank and Micah James – Psycho Killer (Acapella)
Dada Life – Unleash the Fucking Dada
Yolanda Be Cool and D Cup – We Speak No Americano
Cee Lo Green – Fuck You
Put that in your pipe and smoke it...
But of course all that was leading up to this, Rad Omen have just released this incredibly sick edit of Dirt Nasty's "1980" with Wolfgang Gartner's "Illmerica", pure electro progressive rad GOLD!

Monsieur Monsieur - Dirtyminded (Canblaster + Kolombo Remix)
Not a big fan of the original track, but the Canblaster Remix here is an incredible electro rework. Kolombo also offers a kool downbeat 2 step mix.

DivKid - Pile Driver EP
After a slew of remixes coming down the line, the DivKid machine has delivered a nice remix EP of their latest track 'Pile Driver". The original track is probably my favorite on this package simply because it feels like it just fills the room once it builds into the full body of the song. I'd probably file this under progressive before I'd put it in my electro crate, but it does have some electro elements. Backed up with 4 solid remixes from Bonn Lewis, Paul Lewis, Quantum Loop, and Dom Kane all mostly on that progressive side as well, but each with their own twist (Paul Lewis' 'Dark' mix brings a very minimal, eerie sound that you gotta check out). Check them out on the player here and then go pick up your faves from any one of the links below:
