DivKid - Tailwhip EP

A new original track from the DivKid duo. I don't have the video for the original simply because I took too long to post this up for you guys, but the video and the remixes are sweet enough to make up for it. Long live the 8bit!

Pick up the full EP from beatport or iTunes

Orson Bramley - Portraits Of The Invisible Man

Some very kitschy new tunes from Orson Bramley. 'Portraits Of The Invisible Man' is the 1st single from his solo album 'Inverted Snobbery'. It almost sounds like something experimental, but then again it's catchy enough to keep me groovin to it. With a pack of dubstep remixes and a pack of techno remixes, a very solid release here for Orson Records

Jimmy Vallance - Put The Kettle On

A gorgeous track from Jimmy Vallance. Something I could definitely find myself listening to on a Sunday morning as I put the kettle on to make some tea. Yes, I drink tea and not coffee. Not all Americans drink coffee ya know. Besides, this song just feels more like tea time.

TWR72 - Tunnel + Schizophrenia

TWR72 (aka The Walk & Roger Seventy Two) recently dropped this huge building monster of a track and our friends at LowLife were super kool enough to send us a copy. Ya, when I say build... I mean build. It's all build. But not in a Josh Wink minimal sorta way.... in more of a OMFG when does it end?! sorta way. It's huge, in your face. Out now on Instant Replay.

Tiefschwarz - Home

Tiefshwarz are probably best known for their track 'Damage with Tracey Thorn' and the huge Mandy remix that followed. But the german brothers Ali and Basti Shwarz began their music career way back in the '90s and have been churning out quality techno and house the whole time. *note: I posted the first picture because I thought it went best with the track I have to post here, but when I saw the second one I thought they looked more like male models and had to post for contrast.

Home is off of their third album 'Chocolate' which will be quickly followed by 'More Chocolate, both out on Tiefshwarz own label Souvenier

"‘Chocolate’ is everything: subtle, bitter, and sweet, without milk and sugar, it is hand crafted from only the finest ingredients. The only problem is that the 16 pieces of “Chocolate” are highly addictive. Once you've tasted the edgy vocal contributions of Cassy, Dave Aju, Daniel Wilde & Seth Troxler - added to the bittersweet beat-making expertise of Philipp “Santé” Maier, you'll be looking everywhere for more...So on that note they carefully concoct
“More Chocolate," the follow up essential piece of the chocolate bar.  By harvesting more vocal weirdness, blending just a pinch of club-driven rhythms and tempering them with the perfect amount of deepness. A new collection of seven beat-driven flavors, which taste even better where they are played together... And will leave you craving a tall glass of milk to swallow it all down." (low life inc)

Autokratz - Kick (Japanese Popstars Remix)

Raw german electro rock meets epic progressive electro club sound. This collaboration is brilliant. I've also got the Kezokichi remix here which is more on the darker techno side.

Impetus - Pitch Twit

I am really enjoying listening to this guy evolve. This time Pitch Twit gives us something with a lot of soul. Electro, techno, but underneath it's a progressive freight train. This track will go over huge with the UK progressive/ prog house DJs. Keep watching this guy, keeps getting better with every production.

Loose Cannons - Deneke/Boy 8 Bit - Wolfen (Loose Cannons Remix)

Electro, sometimes tropical but seemingly always head bangin tunes. That's what The Loose Cannons are all about. These guys have their own radio show on KISS in the UK, they've rocked New Years Eve crowds in Vegas as well as the Australian Festival. Have a taste of what Loose Cannons are all about here with an original track they did featuring the Kakatsitsi Drummers for some of that tropical perscussion vibe. Then check out the nasty electro remix of Boy 8 Bit's "Wolfen".

Style Of Eye - Puss Puss

Normally I don't like to post tracks that I don't have a clean version of for you, but I'm making an exception here. "Puss Puss" (swedish for "kiss kiss") is Style of Eye's latest banger which has already been rocking UK and OZ clubs for a while. The release date on this one has yet to be confirmed and I've had this sitting in my inbox for a long while. The main reason I'm excited about this release is the Noob remix I keep reading about... where is it?!!? I can't wait to hear that tune! Meanwhile, check out the rip on this soundcloud widget and imagine with me...

p.s. I will defintely try and post up that Noob remix once I find it! = )

Don't Wait Animate - 6174

And if you like that, check out the garage glitchy electro remix from Coin Operated Boy

Or the more big room club style remix from The Dirty Disco

Cheers!

(Tim)OM(aas)FG - Smashing The Opponent

A veteran of techno and a name I haven't heard in a while but I'm certainly glad he's back, Timo Maas is here to remind us where it all started. Infected Mushroom have been rocking dancefloors since the mid 90s. I remember seeing mix CDs by them back in the day next to Frankie Bones and DJ Dan. Now Timo has taken one of thier recent singles 'Smashing The Opponent' and tweeked it into a rockin electro track.

Le Le's Rimer London - Intercity EP

Back again with some great stuff from Rimer London, one third of pop fav Le Le. with his solo EP.

Deeply rooted in Italo and Techno, especially in 'Go Away', this is beautifully constructed music with a very sensitive side to it. This EP finds it end with 'Intercity', a lovely quirky track that has a very melancholic feel to it. the type of melancholy that leaves you both happy and sad.

Awesome (feat The Cool Kids) (Men In Skratch Remix) - The Bloody Beetroots

This is a bit heavier than stuff I usually post. But I couldn't help noddin the head to this. Above is the offical vid for the original track. Just cause I hate posting a youtube embed for a song and the vid is just a static image. Booooooring.

Urban Sense EP - Viann

If you like deadmau5, then you should definitely check this out. Very well produced tracks here with that heavy, tech filled building sound. I can definitely use this in an early morning set.

Viann - Urban Sense EP  by  Gung-HoRecordings
According to Urban Dictionary, "Viann : noun. The epitome of men. Often she is mistaken as a goddess, only to be discovered as the most beautiful mortal on earth. She is..Viann."
