New York Fashion Week

The New York Fall Ready To Wear Fashion Week (wow that was a mouthful , erm handful to write)  just concluded.  I had tweeted about how I wish I was in NYC right now. I don`t even want to be in the tents seeing the shows. Just want to feel the energy in the city of fashion week.

Anyway, clearly that did not happen. So the next best thing for me to do was go put together a post of my favourite looks, make up and front row pictures.

Favourite Looks

The very pregnant A list stylist (also my dream job boss) had a presentation. And I Adore each of her pieces.

 Love the colour block dress by Costello Tagliapietra. My humble request to young bollywood to experiment with these kinds of pieces!!

FIERCE!

OMG after seeing this collection I had dreams about it. Its got everything I love. Lace and subtle sequins! And the make up is so chic. I absolutely loved this collection.

HAIR AND MAKE UP

Love the side swept ponytail and the intricate braiding.

Did Naem Khan`s Make up team get inspired by Taylor Momsen? Anyway it looks better here.

Ed Westwick! Why do you look so chubby?! Chuck Bass is not going to approve. Also Mr Efron I `am not a big fan but of course I cannot deny that you are an attractive man, but again whats with the CHUBBINESS? Last I heard you were taking the break up with Ms Hudson pretty well.

Everyone got the memo for going with Emerald Green on the red carpet this year.

I adore this dress on Olivia Wild. It is a little similar to what Anne Hathway wore while performing at the Oscars in 2009

But not in a 'bitch stole my look' way.

As if the dress wasn`t enough she flashed the paps with her ultra edgy Loboutins.

Anne Hathway could`ve come NAKED and she woud`ve rocked the red carpet. Seriously. Have you SEEN Love And Other Drugs? Well you should.
Anyway she still rocked it in this Armani Prive gown. Rachel Zoe has always styled her so I am guessing the pregnant stylist did her magic again this time.

But sadly the supermodel mother does Not rock this dress. A better hairstyle and better accessories maybe could`ve done the trick.

proving how amazing her sense of style is at 65!

Sofia Vergara is so hot and so god damn funny (go see Modern Family) but this dress is SO meh.
I wish she had chosen something else that would`ve been much more flattering to her amazing figure.

I love this dress. But for my wedding.

Really. This would`ve worked so much beter in another colour.

Could`ve tried it in  the nude or pink family.. They`re the Anarkalis of the west anyway.

Leighton Meester

Someone give her an EMMY already (even though they are in September!)

I am loving her makeup and the dress is Gorgeous.

I don`t know why Emma Stone changed her hair colour from red to almost white blonde.

And then wore this light peachy dress,as a result she looks VERY washed out.

The very pregnant best actress Natalie Portman!

The dress does wonders to her baby bump but idunno about the rose!

Scarlett Johanson

I was a big fan of Sacrlett and Ryan Reynolds :( Anyway I`am going off topic here.
She nailed it in this beautiful dress.

Rumoured to be seeing Ryan Reynolds, Sandra Bullock wore a somewhat similar dress as Scarjo.
That would`ve been AKWARD.

But still Sandra looks amazing. The bangs are a little too long though. 

But I love her. And I love Scarlett, Please dont make me choose!

Besides they can always kiss and make up like last time: )

I am so happy that the social network scored big at the globes. If you havn`t seen it yet. Go see it. Now! They got the globe for original score which they totally deserved. If you are a film geek as I am, and if you are interested check out the soundtrack on youtube.

I am dying to see Black Swan for the make up dancing and clothes. But I don`t want to download it, I want to see it on the big screen. Why can`t they release it here already!!

Btw, if you didn`t catch the telecast of the Globes on TV i suggest you try and watch it online cos Ricky Gervais, the host was hilarious, just like he was last time!

Gossip Girls’ Fashions Night Out

Style on 'The Undergraduates' season 4 Ep 3 

This picture does not do justice to this dress AT ALL. There is this scene where she is walking back to meet Blair and the way this dress flows is AMAZING.
Yes her boobs are out again but So What? I think she looks perfectly fine and not at all vulgar.

Blake Lively CLEARLY looking a thousand times better than the model and the dress is styled much better without the stockings.

Leighton Meester also looks damn nice in this Valentino dress. The bling, a little less conservative from her usual blair prim and proper style.
Maybe they couldve done something different with her hair.

But hey, Who am i to question the stylists at Gossip Girl :)
