Lindsay Lohan's old new look baffles fashionistas

Lindsay Lohan "nearly caused a riot" at a New York Fashion Week show over the weekend.

The Hollywood actress caused a stir amongst fashion followers at Cynthia Rowley's presentation on Friday night.

According to New York Magazine's fashion bloggers The Fug Girls at The Cut, there was nearly a "riot" when the style-conscious crowd realised who she was.

"The entire room full of journalists sat ramrod straight and let out excited, disbelieving, four-letter expletives as we all realised this was actually Lindsay Freaking Lohan," they wrote on the blog.

Lohan was reportedly mistaken for fashion designer Donatella Versace by the bloggers. However, the star caused a wave of attention when people realised who she was.

"The take-home here for Lindsay should be that we all initially mistook her for somebody much crispier who is thirty years her senior, but we suspect instead she will mentally gloss over that part and focus only on how fast the crowd of blase, already-burned-out fashionistas whipped out their smartphones and overloaded AT&T service," the bloggers continued.

Lohan, 25, was wearing shorts and a flowing white top as she attended the show. She was escorted to her front row seat by several security guards.

According to The Cut, one photographer became a little over-zealous when he spotted Lohan. He went out on the runway to get a closer picture of the star before organisers at the event confiscated his camera and credentials.

"The room applauded, led by Lindsay herself," the website revealed.

Lohan Slams Sister Surgery Reports

Actress Lindsay Lohan has slammed rumours her younger sister Ali has had cosmetic surgery, insisting she would "never" go under the knife.

The 17-year-old model came under the spotlight this week (beg05Sep11) after she was snapped looking drastically different, with a skinny frame, fuller lips and a more angular face.

The striking images have caused gossips to speculate Ali has had surgery to change her features, but now her sister has hit back at the reports.

The Mean Girls star tells GossipCop.com, "No way! Never!" And Alexis Borges, a spokesperson at Ali's model agency Next Model Management, is also refuting the claims, telling E! News, "Contrary to recentreports, I can confirm that Aliana Lohan has not had any surgery. As a young girl who is growing up, it's natural for her facial features to change slightly, and we see this with many of the younger models we represent. "Aliana is a beautiful 17-year-old girl who is growing into her face and body, as is the norm for someone of her age.

We take pastoral care of our models very seriously and encourage the models to maintain a healthy lifestyle and body shape". Read more at Female First uk

Lindsay Lohan Takes Ali on a Nightcap Retail Romp

Gossip Center: Teaming up for a week-ending sisterly retail romp, Lindsay Lohan was joined by little sister Ali on a shopping spree in Venice, California on Friday afternoon (August 26).

Clad in a sleeveless blue blouse, denim short-shorts and wearing a dream catcher necklace, the "Mean Girls" starlet and her marvelous model sis took to Abbot Kinney Blvd while popping into Nightcap Clothing's flagship boutique before emerging with a bagful of purchases.

Meanwhile, LiLo's recent lawsuit filing against Pitbull over lyrics in his hit song "Give Me Everything" has quickly led to plenty of press for the 30-year-old rapper.

In response to the legal filing, Pitbull wrote in a statement on his website, "We'll be performing at the VMAs, and as a matter of fact, I'd like to send out an invitation to Lindsay Lohan. Hopefully, she can come with me to the VMAs, and we can figure this out."

Getting no response, Pitbull then turned to MTV to discuss the matter, saying, "As far as the whole Lindsay Lohan situation, it's real simple: I'm actually surprised and, in an ironic way, kind of honored. The record, if you listen to it from beginning to end, [is a] very positive record. I start off even talking about my own life. So in no way, shape or form am I here to defame, degrade or hurt anybody. It was my way of showing love or helping out, I would think.

Insisting that the Video Music Awards ticket offer isn't a ploy to make headlines, he continued, "But either [way], I said, 'You know what? Performing it at the VMAs, [I] would like to invite her out. And anybody who knows my reputation [knows I] don't do no publicity stunts. I'm not really about none of that. ... So I said it, I meant it, and if she takes it, great. If she doesn't, cool. But she will have her tickets at will call." Read more or Watch Videos at Gossip Center
