His most recent full-band album has a laid back, pop/beachy (is that even a category?) sound. Cue my Van Morrison reference and add some of O.A.R.’s bold, high-energy sound, and you’ve got Wesley Cook. He puts so much of his personality into each song, and you feel like you know exactly what he's singing about.
He has shared the stage with many great artists such as Drivin’ n’ Cryin, Zac Brown Band and Manchester Orchestra. In 2006, he was nominated for “Soloist of the year” in the Athens Music Awards, and he has appeared on MTV2 as an “Artist on the Rise.”
