"Guitar Legend Slash Sells Out Center Stage Monday Night

Rock ‘n roll guitar legend Slash brought his “We’re All Gonna Die Tour 2010″ to the sold out Center Stage Theatre Monday night, with Taddy Porter opening up the show. Born Saul Hudson in Hampstead, England, Slash was lead guitarist in Guns ‘N Roses, Velvet Revolver and Slash’s Snakepit. His debut solo album, Slash, was released in April, 2010. In August 2009, Time Magazine ranked Slash #2 on its list of the “10 Best Electric Guitar Players of All-Time”. He was also ranked #21 on Gigwise’s list of the “50 Greatest Guitarists Ever”."

Guns 'N' Roses Star Slash Files for Divorce

"NEW YORK (CBS) After nearly nine years of marriage, top-hat wearing rocker Slash has filed for divorce Monday from wife Perla Ferrar. The divorce petition filed in Los Angles Court seeks dissolution of marriage based on irreconcilable difference."

Will.i.am and Slash Remix the Who’s “My Generation” For Super Bowl

"There will be a little extra Who at Super Bowl XLIV on Sunday February 7th: in addition to rocking the halftime show, the band’s “My Generation” will debut as a remix. Will.i.am has recruited Slash to help rework the classic track. Following the big game, the song will go on sale on iTunes, with all proceeds benefiting Haiti earthquake relief funds."
