Yannick Aellen - Dark Crooning EP

A very interesting lil electro-pop release here from Low Life Inc., with the promise of three more similar EPs to come. The track below is definitely the loudest, most electro one of this EP. But Yannick's voice does equally as well on the chill sound, just give the soundcloud sample a listen. Pick it up on iTunes.

OM(usic)FG - Canned Heat (Calvin Harris Remix)

Ya, I know this has been up elsewhere for a lil while... but the fact that I can't listen to this song without seeing Jon Heder tearing up the stage in my head is reason enough for me to post this nice lil touch up from Calvin Harris. "nothin left for me to do... dance!" (thanks to friendsbyfar for posting!)

OM(usic)FG - Hidden Cat

If you didn't catch his cover of Bag Raiders' "Shooting Stars" ... then you'll have to go over to his myspace page because I can only post one song per post right now! (currently searching out better file hosting). Now, Madison Bullard aka Hidden Cat is poised for pouncing as he gives us his remix treatment on Monarchy's latest single. If you're on the East Coast, he's rockin the "Prime Time Of Your Life" party in Chapel Hill tomorrow Feb 20th. Damn, I have to close and then open the next day.... no road trip for me.

OM(usic)FG Video: Crazy - Nastala

I got this new track in my inbox and I am soooo excited to show you guys the new Madonna video!

...........

Okay, for those who got that joke. Thanks for laughing. Anyone else agree? I think this chick sounds a bit like Madonna, especially in the beginning of the song. Not to mention she's got the dance-pop sound going strong. "Now unleashing her debut single, Crazy is everything you could wish for in a bona fide electro-pop anthem. 'Crazy' was produced by Chris Lake and mixed by respected engineer Ash Howes (who has previously worked with Little Boots and Dido) with additional production from good friend Deadmau5 on drums and guitar." - (source: Rising Digital)

Colourless Colour (The Subs Popup Mix) - La Roux

Another solid remix off of La Roux's last album. The Subs are a 3 man group from Belgium poised to take over the electro new wave world. They just played a huge show last Friday with Don Rimini, Kissy Sell Out, Joe And Will Ask, and Fenech Soler. Here's a lil excerpt from thier myspace:

The past months, The Subs have enthralled audiences with a live show comprising of a unique set up: A modern power trio, by treating the DJ as a real bandmember tweaking and mixing the beats, with synths, guitar and screaming vocals on top. No hiding behind laptops - The Subs take the sweaty punktrashfeel to the dance stage - they work those machines!

Radiates - Riton & Primary1

If you haven't caught this yet, I highly urge you to check it out. It slipped past me for a couple weeks now. I was really diggin the Joker remix and when the orignal played on my mp3 player, I was like "wait... who did this?" The EP also has Riton's Remix. Really good tune.
