At least Elle US kept the belt and styled it a little with the turquoise bra Katy Perry is Wearing.

On the other hand our lovely Marie Claire seems to have changed the blouse, I am assuming cos Genelia was not comfortable wearing such a low cut.

HT city, Delhi carried out the story and has comments from Genelia and Marie Claire editor Nina Haridas.

While Genelia says "The clothes had a very couture cut" SO? What does that mean or ensure? That only YOU will get to wear the pieces. And if she had researched what she was going to wear for her cover shoot a LITTLE bit she would`ve easily seen how its not from a COUTURE line but from RTW!
 

The editor says "We do pay attention that the same look is not repeated. We were convinced about the dress and didnt realise that Elle had it too, as it gets difficult to keep track of all the international glossies at times"

I am sorry, if its so hard for you as an editor of a major fashion magazine to keep track of another major fashion magazine which is Elle Freaking US! Its not like some random magazine from Greenland.

Isn`t it like her damn JOB?!

I am sorry this is utterly random and some might not think its very important but this greatly infuriated me specially their comments.

People`s Best Dressed 2010, On the cover & Inside.

 I love her hair and makeup in this picture. The sari is nice too. But have u noticed the blouse yet? Have you?
Have u seen how weird her boob looks? Her entire boob is hanging out and its completely embellished!
The sari is by Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla and I`m assuming so is the blouse.
I`m sorry but the blouse is just wrong.

This dress is my favourite. No really it is. See I like it so much that I went to my local market and went to a shop which sold decorations for mandirs and pujas and bought yards and yards of this amazing gota and made myself a dress exactly like this.
you know this dress shows us that you don`t need to be stinking rich to afford clothes like these. You can make it on your own.Its simple and cheap!  Amazing isn't it.
Oh and lets not forget to stick on a weird looking skull with some fevicol!
Her son Aarav picked this dress btw. And they`re very happy about it as well. I thought it was a joke at first. Its a 'vintage' dress.


Anyway,with the exception of that dress above i Do think she dresses amazingly. At her age she looks stunning wearing a bandage dress. She does have incredible style. She says in the magazine that she had no sense of style earlier and didn't care about clothes at all. After venturing into interior designing she began opening up to styles and trends.

Cindy Crawford Vogue India Cover

My favourite cover of the month has to be the vogue cover with Cindy Crawford on it. Although Cosmopolitan is not out yet i dont think my opinion is going to change.

I am loving all the attention this cover is getting here on the intra-web. 

As soon as i picked up the magazine I was totally in love with the cover. Its been styled by Anaita Adajania Shroff. Shes wearing a Balmian Dress. The styling is amazingly done and I love how she has combined the ultra sequined dress with a simple kundan necklace. The whole look may look blinged out but its so simple and ingenious.
Their whole issue was on icons. And I really liked how they had separated each section like beauty/fashion/art etc with different kinds of texture. I really cant explain it so you`ll have to flip through the magazine to know what i mean.

I also found lots of polls going around between these two covers since these two were contemporaries.
