Audrina Patridge Battling An Eating Disorder?

The latest issue of In Touch Weekly includes a segment with Audrina Patridge regarding her figure. But they don't think she's "naturally thin" -- they think that her figure is a result of an eating disorder.

They go on to say that since joining The Hills, she's lost about 12 pounds - which is a considerable amount given her small stature.

When contacted by RumorFix, her rep released a quote from Audrina Patridge that In Touch conveniently left out of their article:
"I’ve always led a very active lifestyle and enjoy eating healthy and staying fit. I’m naturally slim--it runs in the family."

Demi Lovato Opens Up About Eating Disorder

http://www.disneydreaming.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/04/demi-lovato-new-house.jpgDemi Lovato is Seventeen’s newest contributing editor and for her first assignment, she’s hoping to help teens who might be in the same situation she was once in.

Here’s what the 18-year-old starlet had to share:

On her message to teenage girls: “If you are going through that dark period, go to your family and closest friends. Don’t put yourself in danger. It’s very crucial that you get your feelings out - but don’t ever inflict harm on your own body because your body is so sacred. I wish I could tell every young girl with an eating disorder, or who has harmed herself in any way, that she’s worthy of life and that her life has meaning. You can overcome and get through anything.”

On temptations to go back to her old habits: “Yes, there have been times when I definitely have been tempted to get rid of my dinner. But I will deal with it for the rest of my life because it’s a life-long disease. I don’t think there’s going to be a day when I don’t think about food or my body, but I’m living with it, and I wish I could tell young girls to find their safe place and stay with it.”

On how she keeps herself in a safe place: “I don’t let anyone’s insecurities, emotions, or opinions bother me. I know that if I am happy, that’s all that matters to me. And it’s okay to be selfish like that sometimes, when it comes to your well-being. Do what makes you happy, and don’t care what others think.”

On how she defines her personality after leaving treatment: “I don’t really define it by anything. I live my life every day, and if I feel like wearing combat boots one day and shoes the next, I will. I allow myself a lot of freedom and I’m very peaceful now. I have come to realize that just making yourself happy is most important. Never be ashamed of what you feel. You have the right to feel any emotion that you want, and to do what makes you happy. That’s my life motto.”

Stephanie Pratt: 'The Hills' Saved Me

Recent press reports have claimed that starring in The Hills gave Stephanie Pratt an eating disorder. But the reality star has told OK! that these rumors couldn’t be further from the truth. If anything, Stephanie says that the show saved her from the bulimia that she had struggled with since eighth grade.

“I should have died a million times,” Stephanie told OK! at the launch of the Charlotte Russe fall collection in NYC.

“I was just partying, trying to fulfill this emptiness that I had for no reason,” she admitted.

“[In the reports], it says that I’m on The Hills and I’m throwing up. But what the hell am I doing? I’m living a dream life right now, you know,” she explained. “I got myself out of it, I got help.”

And speaking of transformations, Stephanie says her big bro Spencer Pratt is a new man since his marriage to Heidi Montag.

“Since the wedding, he’s happier and nicer than anyone. He just took my mom and dad out to dinner the other night. He’s been a great guy right now,” she told OK!.

“He’s just completely different. They’re in bed at 9:00 reading!”

Stephanie Pratt Shows Off Figure

Never one to turn down a celebrity-clad event, Stephanie Pratt attended the “Bruno” premiere in Los Angeles last night (June 25).

The reality-TV star showed off her thin figure with a short, one-shoulder blue dress and some uber high heels, while readily smiling for the awaiting paparazzi.

In recent news, the body conscience babe has openly blamed the “skinny girls” on “The Hills” for her bulimic eating disorder.

She recalls, “I was horrified. I remember saying, ‘I can’t believe how huge I look walking over to Lauren.”

The sister to drama-chasing Spencer Pratt also mentioned that Audrina did not help her cause either, but she did add that the producers of the show never put pressure on her to lose weight.

Stephanie Pratt Whines About Fake Eating Disorder

The Hills' Stephanie Pratt is opening up for the first time about hating her body and her terrifying, secret struggle with bulimia. Or so she claims.

Putting on the bikini for the cover of Us Weekly was tough, says the sister of Spencer Pratt, who says that she has been so embarrassed by her body that she hadn't worn a two-piece suit in front of anyone in "over a year."

"I'm proud of myself," says the size 0-2 Pratt of her celebrity magazine cover shoot. "I was super nervous going in, but I'm happy I did it." That fat paycheck does feel good, doesn't it?

In the video below, which shows Stephanie Pratt in a bikini, she whines about bloggers calling her the fat girl on The Hills (not true), people hating her just because she's related to Spencer (not true) and lots of other crap.

Asher Roth, get your girlfriend under control!

Regarding his sister's alarming admission of an eating disorder and self-esteem issues, big brother Spencer Pratt said: "I love and support Stephanie. We all have our problems from time to time, but she's my sister and I'm always praying for her."

Is Audrina's Weight A Bad Influence?

When Stephanie Pratt came clean to Us Weekly about her struggles with bulimia, she mentioned that being around rail-thin Audrina Patridge made her self-conscience about her own weight.

Do you think Audrina is too thin?
Heck yes! She should eat a few of those hamburgers she's been advertising!
Maybe. She looks really thin, but some people are just naturally like that (supposedly).
No. She looks perfectly normal and healthy. It's not like she's all bones! Give her a break!

Stephanie Pratt Clarifies: ‘The Hills Did Not Make Me Bulimic’

Yesterday, we commended Stephanie Pratt for opening up to US Weekly about her secret struggle with depression, crash dieting and bulimia. And while Steph doesn’t regret going public (she’s hoping to help teenage girls and their parents recognize the warning signs), she does want to set the record straight about one thing: she’s not tryin’ to blame The Hills.

The Hills did not make me bulimic,” Stephanie insisted to MTV earlier today. "It was my own issues with self-esteem, and if anything, my life on The Hills has only helped me get healthy, ’cause I know how lucky I am to have this job and to have the chance to be a role model. And if it weren’t for [the show], I don’t know how long I would have had those dark stages in my life.”

So what’s the hardest lesson Stephanie’s learned from this trying ordeal? You’re only as healthy as your secrets.

“I’m the latest cast member to come on the show, and I look up to all of them, and I’m definitely not going to be like, ‘Oh, Lauren, you’re so great, but I’m a disaster,’” she told MTV news of her struggle to fit in. “And so I kept it a secret, and that’s when it’s bad. The more I can stress about being honest, [the better].”
