OM(usic)FG - Pitch Twit
Ladies and gents, allow me to introduce you to Pitch Twit aka Tom Sidebottom and the main man behind this new label Sic Outfit. Bulletproof is the 1st release on Sic Outfit and Tom is hooking us up with a freebie on the dub mix! I like the breaky, nu-disco-ness of the track, both the dub and the original. I'm not sure why he chose to go with such heavy filters on the vocals on the original though (I can't make out most of the lyrics). A solid production for his first release, I hope to hear a little more glitch and cleaner vocals from future releases.

DCUP - Style EP Remixes
Oh yeah. I've got the whole Style Remixes EP from DCUP here for you guys. If you can get down with some funky, nu-discoy stuff... you've got to check this out. Hemingway's remix is my fave so far. 128kbps here. You can still get the 320s over at beatport.
"The Original Style has a distinctive retro flavour with 8os funk and disco elements interwoven in the fabric to enhance its already distinctive melodic appeal. We see this flavour continued in the High Beams remix but with more elasticity in the garment, and hence more bass wobble. Its more tech too for those who like a little more bounce in their booty!
In the Rainbows of Death remix we see so much colour you may go blind, its summery elements and uptempo jiggling funk make its so infectious you will be bopping well after you have taken it off! In case you hadn't noticed, I'm a huge DCUP fan. = ) This Australian electro-disco dynamo has been releasing lots of quality grooves. Last week I featured his remix of 'Last Night A DJ Saved My Life" which I've been using in sets a lot lately. I'm still a huge fan of his remix for Brotherhood of Broken Hearts 'Together Lonely', a much more progressive, nu-wave offering but still a great track.

The Style EP has been out on Beatport for a while, which features 4 of DCUP's original electro-disco grooves. But the hot ticket is the Style remixes release, featuring remixes from Hemingway, DJ Wool, and DCUP himself under his Hibeams alias.
