Stepping out for a promotional appearance, Paris Hilton was spotted leaving the “Today” show in New York City this morning (June 1).

The “Simple Life” babe took some time to stop and sign autographs and pose for pictures for a few lucky fans as she made her exit.

Paris Hilton: How I Got Cy To Be On My Show

Paris Hilton wanted to make sure that her businessman boyfriend, Cy Waits, was a part of her new reality show. Since Waits had declined and Hilton couldn’t convince him herself, she had her mom do it.

“I had to beg him to do it but he wouldn’t,” she said, according to Showbiz Spy. “So I had to get mom to tell him and he eventually agreed. She told him how much it means to me and how exciting it would be and it did the trick.”

Furthermore, those who watch the show might be in for an engagement surprise. Monsters and Critics reports that Hilton said of The World According to Paris, “We are so happy. It's almost been a year-and-a-half now so we'll see what happens, but the show is going to show everything, so when that happens it will be on the show.”

“We really live life to the fullest. I have amazing friends around me, an incredible boyfriend, and my family's the best,” she boasted. “I really look up to my parents' relationship. I think it's so special how in love they are and how they've been together since my mom was 15.”

Paris: Brooke Makes My Show 'Very Dramatic'

No stranger to eyebrow-raising scenarios, it only makes sense that Paris Hilton calls her new Oxygen series "very dramatic."

But it's not just Hilton who brings intensity to the small-screen in her latest reality TV venture. The socialite says when her show premieres June 1, viewers will see "everything" unfold with her tabloid-friendly pal and costar Brooke Mueller, who has been fighting addiction publicly while battling her ex, Charlie Sheen.

"Brooke's an open book," Hilton, 30, told PEOPLE on Friday, while promoting The World According to Paris at NBCUniversal Summer Press Day at the Langham Hotel in Pasadena, Calif. "She's not afraid to show who she is. She's not afraid to tell the truth. And as a producer of the show, I love that for TV. I love someone who's not afraid to show everything."

Hilton and her mom Kathy continue to stand by Mueller, 33, even when the cameras aren't rolling.

"What she's going through is a daily struggle," Kathy notes. "It's a work in progress."

Adds Paris, "We've been friends for years. My mom and her are very close, and she's one of my good friends as well."

And luckily Paris's close ties with Sheen, a neighbor, don't impact her relationship with Mueller.

"Brooke doesn't mind that we're friends," Paris says. "She knows that I met him before I met her."

Paris Hilton On Cy Waits: He Makes Me Feel Safe

Reality TV star Paris Hilton visited The Grove to chat with "Extra" host Mario Lopez about her new Oxygen show, BFF Brooke Mueller -- and boyfriend, Cy Waits.

It's been 11 months, so almost a year together. I'm so happy," gushed Hilton about Waits. "He's such an incredible person and makes me feel so safe."

Hilton has a new reality show, "The World According to Paris," premiering on Oxygen this spring, in which she hangs out with family friend Brooke Mueller, Charlie Sheen's ex wife. Paris said she's been talking to Mueller and says "she's doing good."

The socialite also recently turned 30. Lopez asked her what 30-year-old Paris would tell 20-year-old Paris. "Just not to trust certain people and to make better decisions sometimes," she said.

Paris Hilton's Plan To Wed Boyfriend Cy Waits

Love is in the air for Paris Hilton who has revealed her plans to marry boyfriend, Cy Waits.

"It's really serious and I'm so happy," she told Ryan Seacrest when asked how her relationship with her beau was going. "He is an incredible person and I'm so lucky. Things have never been better in my life. I'm in a great place."

And when the KIIS Fm radio host asked her if she thought Waits was going to propose, she said; "I'm sure. Yeah. We love each other very much so we will see what happens."

Hilton - who is celebrating her 30th birthday today - received a $375k Lexus LFA sports car from Waits for her big day.

But the reality star admits the yellow version wasn't the real one she will be driving around Beverly Hills.

"The yellow was a joke," she said. "At first he pulled up the yellow one and I was laughing, like, are you serious? Then they pulled up the white one which was the real one."

Hilton - who has been dating Waits since August 2010 - is currently filming her own reality show, The World According To Paris which is set to air on the Oxygen network.

Paris Hilton Gets ‘Real’ On Upcoming Show

After a self-imposed exile, Paris Hilton, 29, is ready to return to TV on Oxygen’s new show The World According To Paris, set to premiere in spring. Hollywood Life spoke to Paris on the red carpet at an NBC Universal party Jan. 13 about her newest reality venture, and she was eager to dish about her life.

“I’ve just really been trying to lay low,” Paris said. “I’m getting ready for the show and saving it all for when it comes out. Ive been working a lot and traveling and not going out like I used to.”

The show will be a total-access look into the world’s most famous celebutante, even focusing on her relationship with Cy Waits. Paris told us, “He’s really camera shy, so he wasn’t really wild about the idea in the beginning, but he loves me so much he’ll do anything for me!”

Paris’ main goal during the show was to prove to America she is more than a pretty face with a stack of money.

“On The Simple Life I was playing a character that I sort of invented,” Paris said. “I didn’t realize the show would last five seasons, so I had to continue doing that. People assume that’s really how I am in real life, but when I’m with my friends or my family, that’s when I feel most comfortable. This show really shows the real Paris.”
