Kristin Cavallari Is "Moving On.. Starting Over"

As you know, Kristin Cavallari is starring in this season's "Dancing with the Stars" but what you probably don't know is that it's not the first time she's been asked to be on the show.

"They've asked me every season pretty much to do it, and I was always so nervous because I hate being in front of a live audience. That's why I always said no," she told E! News. "But for whatever reason this time I was just like, 'I don't know, maybe its just the perfect time.'"

Regarding her broken engagement with Jay Cutler she says, "I'm sick of talking about it to be honest. I'm sick of the sympathy. I'd rather just move on, and I'm starting over."

Audrina Patridge Talks About Kristin On DWTS

Kristin Cavallari is now the second "Hills" star to be featured on "Dancing with the Stars" -- the first was of course Audrina Patridge. So what does Audrina think of her former frenemy appearing on the show?

"I've never really seen Kristin dance," Kristin's former "Hills" co-star/DWTS alumni Audrina Patridge told E! News. "But I'm sure she's going to have a good time and I'll be cheering for her, that's for sure...She can count on my votes."

And even though their on-screen friendship didn't seem to be, well, a friendship at all, Kristin recently contacted Audrina about her upcoming DWTS stint. I guess they've gotten over all that Justin Bobby drama!

"She was like, 'How did you like it? It's going to be fun, right?'" Patridge said. "I was like, 'Yeah! You're going to have a blast! It's going to be a lot of fun. It does get pretty intense but it's the best experience you'll ever have. It's amazing.'"

Last night, ABC confirmed the cast of "Dancing With The Stars" season 13. So, now we know for sure that Kristin Cavallari will be one of the contestants! I'm so excited to see her dance.

She will be competing against LGBT activist and author Chaz Bono, David Arquette, Ricki Lake, Rob Kardashian, fashion guru Carson Kressley, NBA player Ron Artest, George Clooney's ex-girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis, singer Chynna Philips, Nancy Grace, soap star JR Martinez, and soccer star Hope Solo.

The new season premieres at 8:00PM EST on September 19, 2011.

Another celebrity is headed to a Marine Corps Ball! Following in the footsteps of Mila Kunis and Justin Timberlake, former "Hills" star Kristin Cavallari has accepted an invitation to attend a Marine Corps Ball in San Diego.

U.S. Marine Jonathan Burkett tweeted the invitation to Cavallari August 25 for the November 17 event.

"Wanted to know if you want to go the the Marine Corps Ball with me in San Diego?! Would make a video but still deployed!" he wrote, adding, "Could have your friends come too and all go out in San Diego. Figured it would be a good time and its close by!"

Much to his surprise, newly-single Cavallari accepted, replying, "Would love to! When is it?"

According to TMZ, Cavallari's managers are working to make the date happen.

However, if the reports about her joining the cast of "Dancing With The Stars" are true, her schedule might be a little busy later this fall.

Kristin Cavallari To Join ‘Dancing With The Stars’

If you loved seeing "Hills" alum Audrina Patridge on "Dancing with the Stars," you're going to be super excited when you hear who will be dancing (well, maybe) this season.

A source has told Access Hollywood exclusively that Kristin Cavallari has been offered a contract to be a contestant on season 13 of “Dancing with the Stars” and she plans on making it official.

Kristin’s former co-star, Audrina, appeared on Season 11, where she was paired with pro dancer Tony Dovolani. They placed seventh in the competition.

Kristin just recently split from Jay Cutler, quarterback for the Chicago Bears, whom she was engaged to marry.

Also rumored to be joining the cast are Rob Kardashian, “Jersey Shore’s” Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi (although her rep said there is "no truth" to that), singer Christina Milian and Mike Tyson.

The new cast of “Dancing with the Stars” will be revealed live on ABC, during “Bachelor Pad,” on August 29. Stay tuned!
