Sunday Stroll and Giveaway Winner

This past Sunday my boyfriend and I had a wonderful stroll and lunch downtown. We haven't been in a while because it has been so hot out lately. But, this Sunday the weather was a little cooler, still in the 90's, but cooler. It was really nice to go out and spend some alone time together, especially on a Sunday.

New To Orange

I have never been much of a person to wear orange, but lately I love it! It is such a cute color that goes well with gold and silver accessories. I really want to add some more orange pieces in my closet for this fall.

Flowy Skirts in D.C.

This past weekend I was in Washington D.C. and had the most wonderful time. It was a fun time of visiting with family, shopping, dinners, and sight seeing. I had a great time Saturday night eating dinner with great friends. I decided to finally wear this flowy skirt from Express that I purchased last fall. I dont know why it took me this long to wear it, but finally did and felt wonderful in it. Such a great skirt for dinner in D.C.

Oh The Kimono Kraziness

I am very much loving the kimono look lately. It is a look you can wear casually during the day or to a date night dinner.

I really love how Nicole Richie wears it. She makes this look flawless.

I have really been getting into the crochet trend lately. It is so pretty and the patterns that are made with them are beautiful. I would really love to invest in more crochet piece because they make a simple outfit look more fabulous.

Playing in Florals

A few days before leaving for the beach, me and my sweetheart headed out for some fun with another couple. We went out for a really good dinner and then last minute went to play some laser tag. Note that I wasn't properly dressed for it, but still had a lot of fun playing while looking cute in my new floral top that I finally got to wear. We had a lot of fun and will definitely will be playing again soon.

Casual Movie Friday

I hope you all had a lovely weekend and had fun and relaxed as well. I had a great friday night with the boyfriend. We had a nice casual movie movie night; he took me to go see Mr. Popper's Penguins! It was such a great movie and I remember absolutely loving the book when I was younger. Since it was just a casual night, I decided to go for a more casual look.

This is a very exciting post for me! I got together with Nina of XOXO, Nina and came up with East vs. West Coasts looks. We wanted to share the similarities and differences of day attire and "going out" night attire.

As you can the day and night looks are not too much different. Nina's day look was a little dressier than mine, but pretty much, we did not have many differences. I am sure there are attires that do differ, but these are pretty similar.

My Picks: Forever 21

Forever 21 is one of my favorite stores ever. You can look glam and chic for such a reasonable price. I am so excited about their spring looks that are out already and the ones that will be coming out soon.

Here are a few pieces that I highly recommend:

Flannel Love

When the fall hits and the weather starts to get cooler I love to wear flannel. I used to not care so much for it, but the past couple or so years, I fell in love. There are many colors and so many ways to wear it. You can do laid back look and a casual look. Did I mention how comfortable flannel is? It is way beyond comfort and perfect for cold and rainy days.

• Red-carpet Ready: We loved Lauren’s frock she donned at the Style Awards. She’s totally embracing the flirty floral trend, while pulling off a polished look. We did scooping and found the exact dress, and you’re going to die over how cheap it is! Keep in mind, it’s in pounds, but it’s still such a steal!

Audrina's Blog: Starlight Childrens Foundation

Great news! Starlight Children's Foundation in collaboration with Forever 21 are launching a charitable line of T-shirts where 100% of the proceeds will go towards helping seriously ill children and their families to cope with their pain, fear and isolation through entertainment, education and family activities... And I designed one of the t-shirts~!! Me and some other celebrities like Paris Hilton, Nicky Hilton and Kathy Hilton, Colbie Caillat, Demi Lovato and the Starlight Spokesperson Corbin Bleu all were given paints, markers, and sketch pads to create a design based on the themes of star and light, now featured on a cotton t-shirt or tank top.

To me, entertainment, laughter, joy and hope are amazing gifts. Starlight is a great foundation to help children and their families cope with their pain. I absolutely love children and any chance I get to help, I'm there! I feel it's important for people to be there for children and inspire them and help educate them.

The line will be available this coming Monday online at the forever 21 website and in select stores for $12.80. Also, the originals are up for auction at Starlight's ebay store.
