Lauren Conrad: Tabloid Victim Or Exposing Truth?

In a post-Hills life, Lauren Conrad's enjoying the success of LA Candy, and not having cameras in her face 24/7. But it doesn't mean the tabloids have taken a break too. With no news coming from The Hills leftover casts, and no real up-to-date news about Lauren's troubles, the tabloids have no choice but to create news. For example, this week's edition of In Touch magazine has a side headline about how young Hollywood's falling victim to cellulite. And the most disturbing eye-catcher of the article was Lauren Conrad was the first one mentioned. The piece says that cellulite is caused by being too thin, and the fat has to go somewhere. And what causes cellulite to worsen is pressure, lack of sleep, alcohol, and partying. In other words, the article implies that Lauren Conrad, the darling of Hollywood lives a rough lifestyle, in spite of her healthy efforts in diet and exercise. For LC fans, this hurts because someone dares to point out the flaws of a person who's influenced not only a generation, but Hollywood as well. The motives behind the negative publicity could be from those that are jealous of Lauren Conrad's success, that they'll do or say anything to take LC down. It could come from former entourage members, former friends, current cast members of The Hills, or even it could be orchestrated by MTV, who needs all the attention they can get for The Hills, now that Lauren Conrad is no more. Or it could simply be magazines looking to make money, and keeping the reader's interest. But the ones who are writing the articles could have personal vendettas against Lauren Conrad, by expressing it in general articles about young Hollywood and their body problems. Then again, what are the motives behind destroying Lauren Conrad? It could be that there's less than flattering things we don't know about the former leading lady of The Hills. And those that know things about Lauren Conrad, either by friend, foe, or by information from others are looking to expose aspects that could destroy the LC franchise. And all because people want some chunk of compensation for their experiences with Lauren Conrad, or they just simply can no longer tolerate whatever troubles LC's going through, that they have to spill their truth somewhere. If we learned anything from Britney Spears in the last two years, it's not to let things get out of control. To keep away the tabloids, follow these simple steps. One, take care of yourself. Do not let stress, alcohol, partying, or lack of sleep alter your beauty or your healthy habits. Two, seek helpful advice from your public relations people. But if you think your PR is hurting you more than helping you, then find another firm that will help. Or better yet, seek advice from those veteran celebrities that know how to handle negative publicity. And three, if scandals arise, and they're true, please... admit you made a mistake, deal with the consequences, and keep building your success while repairing the damage that's been done. Or if these scandals turn out to be false, then it's your job to expose the ones that expose you. Therefore, you'll triumph over Hollywood, and stump out the tabloids.
