For Kendra Wilkinson, Monday night's Dancing With the Stars premiere means more than just the start of the new season. It means she will officially bequeath diaper duty for her 15-month-old son, Hank, to her pro-football hubby Hank Baskett.
"Hank is in his off season, so he's going to be the man of the house," Kendra tells PEOPLE, noting that Hank is a more than capable Mr. Mom while she's working.
"We put together a schedule for the baby," Wilkinson explains. "We didn't want to just dump him off to a nanny or a babysitter. When Hank is playing football, I take care of the baby. Now Hank is in his off-season so he has time to be the man of the house. He will run the house and take care of the baby."
Wilkinson, who's competing against 10 other celebrities for the season 12 mirror ball trophy, says knowing that her boys will be together puts her mind at ease so she can focus on performing.
"It makes me feel so good the baby will be with Hank," Wilkinson says. "We're very hands-on parents so this is just perfect timing."
Dancing premieres March 21 (8 p.m. ET) on ABC.
